Week 1
WEEKLY REFLECTION
Week 1 ( 1-11-22 to 4-11-22 )
Our school induction program started on 1st November which is widely celebrated as kerala piravi, the day this state was formed. The assembly commenced with the speech given by the headmaster recalling the significance of the day. A student representative sang a song about the glory of Kerala which was very much pleasing to the ears. There was also a pledge celebrating our native land and language.
There was also a human chain formed by the students as part of an anti drug campaign inorder to create awareness against the use of drugs.
The second day of the school was as exciting as the first. The school hosts an enchanting garden and today I could participate in its upkeep along with the students.
There was also a program organised by the rotary club giving out spectacles to students with problems regarding sight.
There were no special observances on the 3rd day. I had to engage class only during the last hour and I helped to disperse the students at evening.
During Friday there were a bit of changes from the normal routine. There were five hours before lunch as opposed to the usual four. After lunch I got the opportunity to help out with the exam duty regarding 10th standard students. It was quite a different experience and it helped a lot to improve my classroom management skills. In short the week was very lively and filled with different activities and campaigns.
