Week 2

WEEKLY REFLECTION
Week 2 (7-11-22 to 11-11-22)
This week was not as lively as the last one which hosted numerous programs and observations. Now that I was more familiar with the students, the level of interaction and student queries increased quite a bit.
The only activity I engaged with in the first day was my teaching session. The students were very much responsive to the explanations provided and to my surprise had excellent previous knowledge of the content.
Our optional teacher chose this week for my first class observation and it went quite smoothly.Even though I thought it would be intimidating and the students would be difficult to handle, the entire session was very lively and the students were much disciplined and supportive. My tutor provided valuable advice on how the classes can be improved and gave suggestions to improve the quality of teaching that I exhibited.
The next few days passed by without much excitement and I could easily observe that even without any official extra curricular activities on schedule, the students were always busy with gardening, taking part in different club activities and using their free time for practice sessions.

Most days at noon I engaged with the faculty for serving lunch to the students. It was quite a different experience and made me realise that there is much more to a school than teaching learning activities. The laughter and spirit of sharing that filled the air was such a beautiful thing to watch.
All the classes I engaged with this week was quite lively and thought provoking and left me with a sense of immense satisfaction.
