Week 9

Week 9 (16/01/23 to 20/01/23)

This was the last week of our teaching practice days. I completed the whole of 40 lesson plans during this week. I also conducted the achievement test and diagnostic test by borrowing periods from their class teacher. Following the tests, remedial classes were also taken. We distributed sweets to all the students we teach. Although we were excited about finishing the first phase of our internship days, we were a little sad to leave the students. It was a memorable experience with the students, the teachers and all the other staffs in the school supporting us wholeheartedly. I am extremely happy to have chosen this profession. After receiving feedback from the students, I realised that I was a good teacher to them and that they had a great time during these 40 days. Many of them started to like the subject and some students who found it difficult to even read could overcome that difficulty after I taught. All this was pure happiness to me and as a teacher trainee I see this as an achievement as well as motivation.This made me believe that this is the right profession for me.
